Our Preschool Program

Since May of 2010, Wisdom Tree Preschool has offered children in the Miller Place, NY area an organic educational experience to prepare them for a life of learning.

Our preschool classes are for ages 2-5 years old and are available in AM and PM sessions. These classes include sensory-based learning and we follow the Foundations and Wilson methods of teaching. We do accept children wearing diapers, we welcome children with separation issues and do provide them with the help they need to adjust to being in a classroom setting while making friends and using their words not tears.

Features of Our Preschool Classes

These preschool classes take place in a fun, loving and energetic environment. Your child will participate in singing, dancing, arts and crafts, interactive story time and imaginative play. There is plenty of socialization with the opportunity to make new friends.

Our preschool program also includes an introduction to sign language and Spanish. It's a fun-filled academic curriculum which will get your child ready for kindergarten (Pre-K classes are also available).

Please note that potty training is not required for your child to be enrolled at Wisdom Tree Preschool.

An Intimate Classroom Setting

Our classrooms have a maximum of 13 students with three teachers, making them over-ratioed to create a more intimate learning experience.

For 2 and 3-year olds, snacks, diapers and wipes are provided if needed. We also give our students their own communication and journal book.
