AM and PM Pre-K Classes

Developing an Awareness of Letters
Our Pre-K program focuses specifically on language, ensuring your child is quite familiar with words and letters before starting kindergarten.
- Ability to sort and organize objects based on different attributes
- Developing a basic vocabulary by listening to and identifying unknown words in stories
- Developing a strong sense of numbers
- Identifying numbers up to 20 and expressing different ways to represent numbers up to 20
- Recognizing basic shapes and units for measurement, time and weight
- Recognizing essential sight words in text
- Recognizing that letters have their own specific sounds
- Understanding the relationship of letters to words and words to sentences
All Pre-K students receive a journal, foundation, and communication books.
